Make Woodworking Projects from Junk Firewood!

I made a cheese serving board from firewood…literally! My lumber was burned in a fire. I wanted to salvage what I could and turn it into a beautiful woodworking project. The serving board has contrasting maple and rosewood, with a tray that holds a cheese knife set.

As a former ATC we would always repeat the airline when similar numbers were present on the frequency, i.e. Delta 1328 Delta and SW 3828 SW in order to avoid what happened here. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Just finishing off two of these. Not sure whether to use a walnut insert for the utensils like Billy - or foam - foam much easier! Any thoughts welcome.

The top really needs a cnc inlay to really finish it off. Maybe flock the inside of the drawer or put in a motion activated LED light…might consider a biometric lock…wanna keep those knives safe ya know.
