My father died when I was 1, brought up by a badass mother.

My dad told me stories about the nomadic life he lived. My dad as other Arabs lived in an Arabic desert in a tent. My grandpa owned a camel and 2 sheeps, but it was hard to get them food though. They used to travel very often and he said that they barely stay in the same area for a week so they only have themselves and know no neighbours. It was hard but I'm happy how strong he is to live a difficult life. It was hard to get water and barely to find it. Food was another problem and he said it was okay for them to eat one meal a day to just survive. He used to work in trading and my grandma used to sew "Talli" I don't know what's in English but it's a cloth that is so difficult to make with no equipments. My dad is a hero who survived the very hot weather in the Arabic desert, he's so strong and brave to live in a place where sometimes a hungry wolf appears and search for a prey. Actually there's that once he told me a man was lost in the desert and of course as an Arab we have to give him hospitality although they didn't know him and they didn't had much food, they had to kill their sheep and left the other one alone:( and the strange man was actually a non Arab who lost in a place he don't know. Sometimes I wish my dad didn't have to go through hard times.

My dad was a great man. He could make anyone laugh with just some silly face or joke. He was so funny and charismatic. Not only that but he was great at building things and fixing up cars. He was so caring and loving. I miss him so much and would do anything thing to have him back! He passed away last month and as the days have passed without him it hasn't gotten any easier.

To everyone : Appreciate your parents and love them unconditionally for who they are. You never know when you will lose them.

My dad wasn't really a father to me he was just concerned about be writing good grades, not about me having anxiety attacks or being depressed. My granda was there for me for the time he lived and he actually invented the safety bar for traktors though his boss never gave him credit for it but out family knows and I'm really proud of him and I hope someday I will do something as significant as he has done.

Words cannot explain how much I love my father!!! When he and my (also amazing) mother separated when I was kid, it felt as though they have never parted cause he was just always there no matter what. He would always tell me how I had changed his life and is just made of pure, genuine love, and always give me good criticism when needed and tell me how proud he is of me...I'm boutta cry lol I feel so blessed and will never take this relationship for granted, and would never wish for anything different. :')

My father died of lung cancer when I was 2 and now, all grown up, I look exactly like him and people who knew my father can't help but stare and giving me the pity face. Everytime I meet my relatives they always bring up my father and how of a great person he was and my mom talks about him to me everyday. I don't blame her cause he was her first love and she only knew him for 5 years. Now, it's really hard to hold back the tears whenever I think about him cause the older I get the more I feel like I knew him since forever.

I've got a very amazing father. I couldn't ask for anyone better. Due to my mothers mental illness, she became very violent . that along with other things caused her to walk out of our lives when I was two. My father raised two kids on his own while starting his own business. He did a heck of a good job raising my brother and I. He taught me a lot of valuable things and I couldn't be more thankful.

My dad passed away 4 years ago. He was a cyclist too. He got really into it after he got done for drink driving, so it was his only form of transport for a while. He took part in races, and when he moved to the country he started the towns first cycling club.
I remember admiring his medals and trophies when I was younger.

My biological dad got a brain injury when I was 2. He later passed when I was 9. Since then I got an amazing stepdad that's raised me as his own, I'm so grateful I have him.

I had a great father until I was 15, when he divorced my mom. He kept in contact with me until I was 18, then he married someone else, had more kids with her and moved to a different state. We don't really talk anymore, makes me sad.

My father died in December, I miss him so much every day. He had a lot of amazing stories and was like an encyclopedia, he knew a little about EVERYTHING. I remember sometimes, when he was telling one of his stories, if I wasn't in the best mood I'd be thinking, "ok, enough, boringgg." I would do anything to listen to one of his stories now. Appreciate your fathers, I promise you, once he's gone there's nothing you will want more than your Daddy.
