Then watched this video, and spent another 40 minutes on it but ended up doing a 1:47 run thanks to this.

I struggled with this too. In the end I set traction control to 1, automatic transmission and turned on the racing line. All other assists off.

Thanks a lot. I was with 1:51.470 and after watch this video i did 1:49.425 after 10 minutes trying. Playing with controller on PS4.

Man, I don't understand a lot of the terms like traction control and under/oversteering. My current record is 1min 52secs so I only need to shave off a couple seconds to get the all gold trophy. =(

Its nice to see someone do it. But it would have been better if you showed us your traction control settings and video was no help at all.
