New Florida law puts restrictions on businesses hiring undocumented workers

When the law goes into effect in July, businesses could face a $10,000 fine for every undocumented employee found working for them, and the state could revoke their business license. Experts say the crackdown could have benefits and drawbacks in Florida's economy.

I wish people would realize that migrant workers with a visa and do this legally can still work in Florida. This guarantees them a fair wage, and makes it impossible for them to be exploited by big corporations. This has been human trafficking for cheap labor on the backs of these people and it Has to stop.

An American citizen cannot work in any Central America country, in the State of Hawaii, we pay our carpenters $68.95 per hour which equals $143, 416 a year for 40 hour work week plus medical, 401k, now that’s a living wage and you actually have a saving amount with money in it

It sucks that illegal people will now have to leave Florida. However, atleast wages will go up for people that will work leagally. Right? Immigrant work for cheap labor but with this bill that will change. Listen the people that have citizenship should come first not illegal immigrants. I understand that immigrants opportunities are being taken away but how different is that from a poor American citizen?

I think illegals should remain in their country and enter legally. Baldwin Florida is offering illegals jobs at 18.00 an hour and full benefits. I’m not sure why American workers seeking jobs would not do this work.
