I always like teachers who reenact the same excitement they had when they learned the material themselves. What they have to say always makes more sense! Great teaching Doc! I already know the formulas and how they work, but your explanations helped me to better understand HOW the caps in the middle of a series electrolytic capacitor arrangement decreases the overall capacitance due to the extra held capacitance WITHIN the arrangement and that it must be overcome so to speak. Did I explain that right?

This stuff is so easy for me to do. Some of the guys here seem intimidated by what Doc worked out in the video. Get to the fun stuff, like calculating phase angles between voltage and current in RLC circuits. And all the rest of the cool math. --> I'm an Electronic Engineer, but I do remember years ago when I was trying to learn this.
