Top 10 UK Passenger Trains of the 21st Century

Welcome back to my channel! Today I am going to be counting down what I, and a group of others believe to be the Top 10 UK Passenger Trains of the 21st Century! This list was tricky to compile, with many options to go with so I hope you enjoy!

Apologies for the botched intro, unfortunately I had to change it at the very last minute due to a few copyright issues with the original music piece. In the next video, this should be fixed.

For a train to qualify for this list, they needed to have entered service in the year 2000 or after. The trains can be manufactured in other countries as long as they entered service within the UK and yes, Locomotives do count if they haul or did haul passenger stock.

I would have chose the CrossCountry Voyager/Super Voyager because they can go from Penzance all the way up to Aberdeen. But great video buddy.

My personal favourite is the 395 but I live in the south east so I haven't experienced much but I really like the 345's I might go on the lumo soon so cheap

My favourite train of all time is the Class 379 Electrostar used on Greater Anglia and on Stansted Express. And I also like the Class 387, Class 375, Class 377, Class 172, Class 357 and the Aventra trains which Bombardier Transportation have now been taken over by Alstom.

I feel like I have to mention that volume level is very awkward. It seems to quiet and then loud then quiet again to really very loud. Furthermore, i'm a little bit miffed that the class 395 southeastern javelin obly got an honourable mention. I have to hail you for making a video like this because of all the trains in Britain to choose from, I simply would not be able.

The class 222s are good trains, but they have a terrible standard : first class seat ratio

6:50 class 357s have regenerative braking

the worst 68 in my opinion was the Chiltern Railways 68s because of my experience. i was supposed to be travelling on a 68 from Birmingham to London but it was announced that it was cancelled because it broke down so i and all the other passengers were forced to get on a 3 car 168 clubman instead, no seat for the entire journey. but great video

I think I would pick the Class 800 or the Class 397 from the list.

Class 700 is good, apart of the ironing board seats, but it's a commuter train and not a intercity train, so who cares (except if you're +2h on a Horsham-Peterborough)?
