This is great news. I have a road trip to Iowa in July, and I'm probably going to take my Model Y instead of my R1T because I'm worried about charging hassles. I wish I could get a NACS adapter now!

We will have to see how many people decide to delay their purchase until the NACS models are available. The adapter is great for those who already own a CCS truck, but to me it doesn't make sense to buy a new truck with the charger port everybody is running away from.

@Rivian Dad or anybody else - Do we know yet if and when Rivian will be providing the NACS/CCS adapter to current Rivian owners (w/ CCS ports)? Heard some rumors it would be free but I some how doubt it, so do we have any idea the cost of one?
I already have a Tesla to CCS adapter for AC charging and it wasn't cheap.

это всё интересно очень, но ещё интереснее какой смысл для tesla терять такое конкурентное преимущество перед другими ev, ведь такая развитая сеть зарядных станций tesla вынуждала многих покупателей которые ищут себе ev выбирать автомобили tesla, даже не смотря на то, что по другим аспектам и характеристикам они проигрывают ev других брендов. возможно tesla рассчитывает на прибыль с этих зарядных станций, но мне кажется что эта прибыль будет не сопоставима с убытком связанным с потерей спроса. для меня это загадка что они задумали...
