As more electric vehicles hit the road, the largest @Tesla charging station in the country is set to open between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

What is needed are solar grids to be built between LV and Barstow! that will capture a lot of sunlight from the desert to power the electric vehicle stations!

Just wait until you see how much electricity will cost you to charge your car. And let's hope those people are armed or the place has security because it seems like a great place for criminals to either carjack or rob you, while you're standing out in the middle of nowhere "charging" your car, like a sitting duck.

No need to worry, at some point. The cost of electricity will go up in order to charge these cars. Only this time there will probably be no other alternative fuel source vehicle to jump too.

It gets extremely hot in the summer months in that desert; and I would like to know how well these electric motors will tolerate the intense heat?
The insides of the electric vehicles will get extremely hot; and will the air conditioning system function properly?

People should have gotten the tesla deal when they had full super charging for life of the car even if you sell it. Now its only the first owner if you sell it back to tesla but not 3rd party. But if your lucky and I know a family member who somehow has a super charger down the street .5 miles lol… saves probs 10k-12k now probs 15-20k on gas basically free travel. When compared on his standard of his alternative car choice. Now on the low end you probs would AT LESAT save 5-10k still if you got a economical car. But even then all depends on how many miles you drive a day I guess.

Exxon or Chevron should buy a charging company and add charging islands to every one of their current stations. Massive rollout in a year.
