Fritz went from being 0-11 against top 10 players in slams before this year to winning 4 (and counting) of those matches this year. Gotta respect the hustle and growth 🔥

Fritz has always played Zverev pretty tough, so I'm not terribly surprised by this result. I am pleased by it, though. Fritz's calm demeanor on and off the court makes him likeable. He never gets too high or too low. Hope he keeps going at the Open.

Huge win for Taylor. He’s usually pretty consistent at reaching his seeded position but then he hasn’t really made that extra leap of getting past someone ranked above him, so this is a big statement win and he held his nerve brilliantly. If he can keep up this level he’s in with a shot at the title.
