I am a semi-new maker in the Cricut world, and I also own/operate a cotton candy business. I just wnjoy creating things. I have worked my way through all of the channels on YouTube. I started by stumbling upon MGL, then I found Mr. Crafty. I am so glad I found this channel. I have been watching y'all for about a month I think. I have been going through the old videos and trying to soak up all of the content. I'm just gonna be honest, and say this because...well, because I want to lol. I recently just discovered that y'all were with MGL for a while. I am so glad I don't have to watch y'all on that channel lol. I really enjoy how genuine you all are on camera. I dont see anyone pretending to be something they aren't, and not using that weird professional, camera voice and faces lol. I believe this is is a big part of your success...just being real, being you. I am from Georgia, and y'all just feel like someone from my hometown lol. I don't need the Jennifer Maker, MGL, or Mr. Crafty. I have found my craft home! I appreciate y'all taking the time to share your knowledge. I do the same thing with new cotton candy makers. I remember when I first started and wanted to know everything. I have been doing keychains recently, and I'm just now starting to use resin. This video will be very helpful. I was in Michael's today and was looking at different sealers. Have you ever used any spray acrylic sealers, or anything else to seal keychains? Im seeing resin as the best way if glitter is going to be incorporated. Thanks again, I cant stop watching. I learn something new on every video! Keep doing your thang!😊

OMG! I’m so excited to try cutting the Benzie felt on my Explore 2. I really wanted to do the garland you showed before and was bummed when you mentioned it wouldn’t cut it. I’ve held off buying the felt, but all bets are off now!

I am new to resin and so far find it frustrating. I use it to coat polymer clay jewelry pieces. The other day it took 30 min to cure a piece and even then it was a bit tacky. I got new resin, new nail lamp, and have tried to do a thin coat, (thinking I could do two coats Kim needed). But after 30 min I just took it out and set it aside. I was using the resin as a top coating for a cuff bracelet. I was trying to rotate the lamp to make sure I was getting even exposure to the UV light. This is most likely user error, so what am I doing wrong??? Loved this tutorial. You guys are awesome.

Hi, I came across your videos looking for an answer to a problem I'm having. I'm using UV resin, and I only have this issue when doing a deep pour in a mold (jewelry) and usually just the larger cavities. I've tried 2 methods, pouring in thin layers, and pouring the entire cavity. In both methods, more than half the time, halfway through a 99 second cure, this giant bubble appears in one section seemingly out of nowhere. When I press down on the cured surface at this point, it goes away, and resin seeps out of a hole in the top cured part. I hope that makes sense, this issue is driving me crazy!
