Hello Steve! Have you ever thought of categorizing your videos? I know as a newbie to this amazing world the amount of videos that you have is astounding, but a bit intimidating when looking for a specific video on a technique. As always, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! Your care and candor regarding the products you use and the willingness you demonstrate to share your creativity…a true blessing!! ❤️

It’s so amazing how far resin has come. When I was young I used to make things with resin. There was on one kind and when I removed it from the mold, which was freaking impossible, I had to polish the heck out of it to get to be clear. Keep in mind I’m retirement age. And this was when I was a teenager.

ppe is soooo important. Personal Protection Equipment. When I had not worn it ... i looked like facial plastic surgery that had gone very badly wrong. My fave resin is Vida Rosa for uv. Always wear ppe or end up looking looking (I can think of a few words) bad! Thank you for your posts.

I do appreciate you and other experienced "resin-ators" that share your hard-earned knowledge. Settling in on a brand can be a personal choice but understanding the different types of resin and their uses is information all of us need to know and accept as "rules of process" if we want our projects to succeed.

I am very much at the beginning of my journey, but I am very interested in UV resistant resin, as I want to make things that will stand up to an outside environment. I'm in the US, and also follow a number of woodworkers. Not all, but a lot of them use a brand called Total Boat. Total Boat's primary customer base are boat builders and restoration projects. All of Total Boat's products must stand up to some harsh environments. So I will eventually give them a try.

Meanwhile, I am using J Diction and Let's Resin with positive results. I do have a question about which silicone you or others choose for mold making. Not the brand but which Shore Hardness? Shore 30 is common, but wouldn't Shore 20 or even 10 make a more flexible mold that would be less prone to tearing when demolding?

Hey, I’m going to try JDiction as I’ve seen you recommended it so often. Do you buy from their website? Or from their store on Amazon? Thanks

Great info to keep us from making the mistake of thinking buying the cheapest resin is the cheapest way to go. Nor when it goes bad and you've lost the time the materials and your desire to create.

Hello Steve, I hope you are having a great holiday season. Thanks for all of the information you share on your channel. You are the first person I saw using resin other than coating paintings. So you are the person I can blame for my obsession! 😂😂😂❤❤❤

Thanks so much Steve. My first resin creation was a pyramid light for my grandson with a bmx bike, a scateboard and a scooter in it. But I was disappointed as there were problems with it I had not expected from watching other crafters, and I lost the confidence to create. It's been a year and watching your videos and especially the tips and tricks ones has given me some confidence again and I am going to start crafting again. Thanks so much for being REAL and showing us the truth of it all. I watch everything you do and I really appreciate YOU and all your happy videos. Merry Christmas to you and your family from Perth, Australia. xx

Would you mind doing a very detailed video about using shallow VS deep pour? What can go in each? What's the benefit of doing a deep pour as opposed to layers of shallow pour resin? Especially when you 're making a detailed effect? I have watched so many videos and I'm looking to do a 3D effect, and it's all so confusing. 😮‍💨

Thank you for this beginners video. I discovered that I like crafting. After trying different art mediums, so far, I discovered I really like working with resin and polymer clay. This video and all your videos help me to learn what to buy and what not to buy. I think you're awesome and I enjoy your videos.
