These are the improved duffel bags used by the US Military. These bags have a full length zipper and load from the side, unlike the old style which is top load. The four compression straps ensure the bag is packed tight when fully loaded. There are grab handles on either end and one end has a ID panel for easy of identifying your bag. The bag includes two adjustable shoulder straps for carrying as well as a center carry handle.

Definitely an improvement and not too much. Can't beat the classic sea bag for style though.

Looking for a crewman's duffle bag. It's the issue style top loader with pack sraps, but has pouches mounted on it. The 1st one I saw was damaged. I've seen a total of 3 in 20 years. So, it may be the rarest piece of G.I. gear ever.

I'm in the army I joined in 2020 I was issued two of the newish ones and I got issued one of the old ones once I got to my oconus duty station I just use the old one to hold all my cif gear and my old kit since I use my deployed kit since it's wayyy better than the old gen kits lol

Not bad but if you pop the zipper you'll be screwed

Keeping the padlock hasp on there is stupid, since you would be able to still access the zippers and open the bag.

It would've been better if they figured out a way to lock both zippers together instead...
