Dennis Allen was the scapegoat for Mickey Loomis’ ineptitude in the front office. Yes DA should have been let go but was he given the full compliment of a cache of cash to spend in the offseason or draft picks to help be successful? No. The front office has missed on draft picks 3 years in a row. The team hasn’t had money to spend in free agency for years. Firing DA doesn’t solve the bigger issue and it’s Loomis that is keeping this team from thriving because he has mismanaged the cap for years and none of these analysts are lobbying that point.

It was a mistake restructuring Carr contract. That's what Mickey does he kicks the can down the road. Saints are more than double over the cap next year. That's freaking ridiculous. They need new personal to evaluate talent. They have too many wasted, high round draft picks. The problem is more than just DA.
