Can we just stand back for a minute and appreciate the name of this thing. M28U.... that's it. Applause.

It's cool to see Gigabyte putting out alot of quality and value monitors out there despite only making monitors for over a little over 2 years now. I have a FI27Q for almost 2 years now and I'm happy with it.

I’ve had an M28U for a month now and it’s awesome. Highly recommend especially for the price.

I've been using mine for the last month and I'm loving it.

I love the KVM feature and built-in speakers, great for a minimalist setup. One note is that KVM only works with up to 2 computers, not 3, as there's only 2 USB upstream ports.

I just picked up 2 M28U monitors for $355 each - down from $600 at the time of this VLOG. Great value for money. Unpacked, easy to assemble, clear instructions, connected power and Thunderbolt to DP - easy - started right up, no problems or hiccups. Viewed display with simple Youtube, streaming movies. Happy with purchase price, set-up, and performance thus far, .

Update 7 increases the max brightness in SDR to ≈ 520 which is a massive gain 👍🏼

It's great to see a 4k 144hz monitor with only a few compromises. Nice work Gigabyte!

I have owned one of this for more than 2 months now hooked up on my PC and PS5 and I can’t complain with the performance though it cost U$700 incl. taxes here in my country, overall it’s a great buy.

Me, still rocking a pair of 24” 1080p monitors, watching a review of a monitor I have no interest (or budget) - on my phone: 👍

I've just got this monitor on sale and I mainly use it for my PS5 and couldn't be more happy with it. It definitely was worth it especially the price and I was considering the LG 27GN950 but after research I found out that this monitor has similar specs and was more cheaper.

This is very exciting to me. Been waiting for a $500 4k 144 hz monitor. And this is one step closer. Makes high refresh 4k an option for me.

I bought one, and am watching this 4k content on it right now. I had the M27Q which don't get me wrong is an amazing 1440p 170hz display. If you have the graphics power though, the M28U is a game changer. I have been through a few gigabyte models and to be honest, even with the lower than others price point, they are hands down the best displays I have ever owned. A 4090 helps to push this m28U. In this bizarro world use case, it's worth it.

Got this one today and i'm impressed. I was afraid to buy this monitor because of poor black uniformity on rtings. But uniformity of my panel is fantastic, minimal backlight bleed, no clouding, guess gigabyte fixed this problem with newer models.

I decided to pull the trigger on this one over the ASUS TUF VG28UQL1A mainly based on your reviews, as this monitor appears to slightly out spec the ASUS and is cheaper!

Excited to see how it performs! 😎
