First light drone video from Glenallen, MO after a strong tornado ripped through the town in the early morning hours. Dozens of homes are destroyed, multiple people were injured and some are still missing as search and rescue continues.

My heart stopped when I saw my great aunt’s house in this video… I’m just thankful that they survived and were able to escape the tornado safely.

Keeping those impacted in my thoughts....these nighttime tornadoes are beyond dangerous. I debated waking up at 2:30 to monitor local weather and decided not to- well, I was up at 3:45 running downstairs with my go bag anyways. Make sure you get alerts people! They can save lives! Get an NOAA weather radio if you can afford it and don't own one yet.

My area was supposed to have severe storms, hail and tornadoes last night up to early this morning, too. All we had was a pretty bad thunderstorm. Seeing all these other places so badly hit and all the suffering people are going through, makes me so sad for them. Yes, I'm thankful we weren't hit as bad as predicted but I almost feel guilty for all the others who were. I send you all my warmest thoughts, strength and prayers. ♥

You know that this is absolutely horrible. The thing that bothers me is that people are looking at this and saying it's not so bad. We have seen so much total destruction in 3 months it's unbelievable and scary to think we are at the beginning of the storm season. God bless every family, not just here, but every family affected by these storms

The tornadoes have been bad this year, yuck ! And the tornado season has just started. This is horrible for all impacted by this and the other tornadoes. Praying for all.
