Thanks for the video! For some reason PowerBI doesn't want to create a hierarchy automatically from my date type field, so your trick with first creating a hierarchy from one field and then adding another field to it, really helped. Although in my case it turned out to be useless anyway, because a slicer understands those two fields exactly as required, so no need to make an explicit hierarchy for the slicer. Anyway thank you very much, as it's good to learn more about this strange and often awkward tool, PowerBI.

Hi Aasish I am having one doubt can you tell me how to convert text to date when we extracting data through direct query mode and if you are doing in power query tables are changing to import mode and I don't to change it. Please help me out.
