Ukraine War: 'Putin has been plain wrong', says President Biden

President Joe Biden has made a surprise trip to Ukraine, where he has made a defiant speech committing his support to Ukraine and criticising the actions of Russia and President Putin.

Mr Biden said: "A year ago the world was bracing for the fall of Kyiv, and perhaps the end of Ukraine, but Kyiv stands, democracy stands, America stands with you and the world stands with you.

Putin thought Ukraine was weak and the West was divided, but he has been plain wrong."
