Not learning your lessons again, yet you're using VSBW and grew a community easily that can be fooled, but as I said previously:In LOTR, there are Planes( They contain tales, stories, worlds, sometimes dimensions that are Real >Fiction) involving mathematical possibility / fate, they are abstracted as they are connected to Eru Iluvatar himself( Exists both places as The Great Plan, practically, its scaled to the Christian God, for short Lord God himself we know!), each plane has collective unconsciousness since ability speak via souls is a racial foundation.Each number of these planes go up beyond the highest philosophy making it lowballed infinitely extending, also there are also infinite time-spaces. Translation of Ea to the Timeless Halls or "outside" is everything vs nothing. Timeless Halls also has Real>Fiction over Ea and since I proved planes goes up to infinity with their own time-spaces: everything Ea has, Timeless Halls shout trancsend on a conceptual level. It is not a simple Real >Fiction.
This includes mathematical dimensions, mathematics as a whole etc. An atemporal and an aspatial place.Sauron and his brethren shook the Timeless H and tanked its explosion as a whole. Making them superior to the Timeless Halls and trancsendant to Ea. So they scale to the peak of cosmology. as I proved that only a single plane of Ea, which Ainur infinitely trancsends on a conceptual level, they are layers above tiering. Morgoth/Melkor was the Right Hand of God, which makes him equal to Abbadon, Lucifer was the FAVOURITE of God, while Morgoth is a representation of the Archangel of Abyss, How powerful is Melkor do I think he is?
Incalculable. As Tolkien himself says:

Even in his diminishment the power of Melkor is beyond our calculation.

But It depends on which Melkor we are talking about. To the question, there are at least five stages of Melkor's power, from the weakest to the strongest.
Morgoth the tyrant of Ogre size and monstrous power at least ten meters high. At that stage, he could be killed or slain. But even at this stage, Tolkien says that he could have reduced all Arda to formless chaos destroying the planet if the Valar and Eru did not oppose it.

Melkor could do nothing with Arda, which was not from his own mind and was interwoven with the work and thoughts of others: even left alone he could only have gone raging on till all was levelled again into a formless chaos.

Melkor the Tyrant of Utumno and the Melkor of Valinor Still vastly diminished, but he can still change shapes and walk unseen. At this stage, he cannot still be killed even by the Valar.

Melkor sued for pardon in the Ring of Doom; the Valar wished to put him to death, but none can slay any of Valarin race, nor remove them from Ea, save Eru only.

[…]

But his prayer was denied, and it is said that in that hour the Valar would fain have put him to death. But death none can deal to any of the race of the Valar, neither can any, save Eru only, remove them from Ea, the World that is, be they willing or unwilling.

There he still had many other monstrous forms:

And in the darkness Melkor dwelt, and still often walked abroad,  in many shapes of power and fear, and he wielded cold and fire, from the tops of the mountains to the deep furnaces that are beneath them;

Melkor at the beginning of Arda, the titanic form that battles all Valar united and for a long time kept the upper hand, big as a mountain, capable of terrorizing Manwe. In Myths transformed he is said to be able to destroy the Sun and destabilize the entire Solar system.

Later, he must not be able to be controlled or 'chained' by all the Valar combined. Note that in the early age of Arda he was alone able to drive the Valar out of Middle-earth into retreat.

[…]

Also some of the Wise have said that the ordering of Arda, as to the placing and courses of its parts, was disarrayed by Melkor, so that the Earth was at times drawn too near to the Sun, and at others went too far off.

Melkor at the beginning of Ea,  his top form,  the vast demiurgic being in far greater scale. Incalculable power; as vast as all Ea, he was able to corrupt all matter and living things in the Universe.

Melkor must be made far more powerful in original nature

[…]

The time of Melkor's greatest power, therefore, was in the physical beginnings of the World; a vast demiurgic lust for power and the achievement of his own will and designs, on a great scale.

[…]

Indeed in his beginning and the days of his great might the most ruinous of his violences came from his endeavour so to order Eä that there were no limits or obstacles to his will.

[…]

the Marring of Arda, and comes of the Shadow, and of the taint of Melkor that touches all the matter (or hroa)(8) of Arda, if not indeed of all Ea.

[…]

And as is known well, the prime among these is Melkor. Measureless as were the regions of Ea,  yet in the Beginning, where he could have been Master of all that was done - for there were many of the Ainur of the Song willing to follow him and serve him, if he called - still he was not content.

[…]

As a shadow Melkor did not then conceive himself. For in his beginning he loved and desired light, and the form that he took was exceedingly bright; and he said in his heart: 'On such brightness as I am the Children shall hardly endure to look;

Melkor in the Ainulindale, his unlimited form, beyond space-time. While not necessarily more powerful the Ainur were already powerful before Ea, his entry into the world limited his power to the world:

But this condition Ilúvatar made, or it is the necessity of their love, that their power should thenceforward be contained and bounded in the World, to be within it for ever, until it is complete, so that they are its life and it is theirs. And therefore they are named the Valar, the Powers of the World.

‘I am the Elder King: Melkor, first and mightiest of all the Valar, who was before the world, and made it.

What we call reality-warping was practiced by Melkor in the Ainulindale, He hijacked the Creation and created aberration in the design of all things:

In the latter the Fall of Man is subsequent to and a consequence (though not a necessary consequence) of the 'Fall of the Angels' : a rebellion of created free-will at a higher level than Man; but it is not clearly held (and in many versions is not held at all) that this affected the 'World' in its nature: evil was brought in from outside, by Satan. In this Myth the rebellion of created free-will precedes creation of the World (Eä); and Eä has in it, subcreatively introduced, evil, rebellions, discordant elements of its own nature already when the Let it Be was spoken. The Fall or corruption, therefore, of all things in it and all inhabitants of it, was a possibility if not inevitable. Trees may 'go bad' as in the Old Forest; Elves may turn into Orcs, and if this required the special perversive malice of Morgoth, still Elves themselves could do evil deeds.

Is not a mere glimpse of physical strength, but something infinitely greater. The fabric of reality was twisted and corrupted even before its making. In that, you can imagine how powerful Melkor is. In fact, It is not necessarily how powerful Melkor is, but what it represents. He is not a planetary, galactic, or even universal threat. He is a vast shadow that rises against the Creation before its making itself.

Melkor was not just a local Evil on Earth, nor a Guardian Angel of Earth who had gone wrong: he was the Spirit of Evil, arising even before the making of Ea.
You can reply, but what's the point wasting my time, while you're a fool.

"We have seen enough. The children of sol cry out for salvation. You promised them life... but deliver only death. As you have for so many before. Enough. Enough Death. Enough life. You have no pieces left to place. The game is over. Do not be afraid. Your pale heart holds the key. This time... There is no escape."- The Witness

If it's morgoth during the war of wrath then yes he loses but if it's him in his prime the witness wouldnt be able to even hurt him
