I grew up where Sammy Baugh lived and he was the absolute sweetest man I ever met in my life. At the time, I had no idea who he was or how important his contribution to Football was.

I like Brees but his career just had to coincide with Manning’s and Brady’s careers. It happens.

Fran Tarkenton deservers a mention for the 1970s, man led all passing catergories when he retired

2:14 - Unitas *didn't* lead the Colts to a championship in '68, he was injured for almost the entire season and backup Earl Morrall led them to the SB.

I think that Ken Anderson definitely should've also been an honorable mention for the 70's. He was the very first NFL QB to play in a pass-heavy offense, he led the league in passing yards twice, passer rating twice, completion percentage once, second-team all-pro nod once, 2x pro bowler, and he had a much lower INT total than Bradshaw. Also consider that Anderson didn't have the luxury of an elite team, and his accomplishments are more impressive than they seem, especially in a run-heavy era where there were fewer rules protecting offensive players.

I think Kurt Warner deserves honorable mention in the 2000s as 3 Superbowl appearances and 1 Superbowl win & MVP and 2 League MVPs.

Fran Tarkenton should’ve been the honorable mention for the 70’s. He set every single passing record and was the forerunner for the scrambling QB’s that were to come as time went on. If you put him on the Cowboys, Steelers or Raiders, any of those teams would’ve gone to and possibly won every Super Bowl in the 70’s. Also kinda stunned Manning didn’t make an honorable mention in the 2010’s. Made 4 pro bowls, 2 all pro teams, won an MVP, won comeback player of the year, started 2 super bowls oh and only had the greatest regular season ever by a QB in NFL history in 2013. Peyton’s Denver years are very overlooked, the first 3 years he was there, he was playing QB in a way that nobody ever had before.

Not to mention Jim Kelly as a runner up in the 90’s is Ridiculous they had 4 Super Bowl appearances even though they lost they still got there . And the amount of win’s in the 90’s is among the best in the league.

Forgot to mention that Sammy Baugh also was a pro bowl punter and defensive back as well, a true quintessential football player. He still holds the record for best season average in punting today, and was one of the best defensive backs in the league at the time. Just a phenomenal phenomenal football player, and rightfully a top 5 QB of all time even if it was in the early dawn of our beloved sport.

GREAT LIST BUT I WOULD HAVE ADDED JIM KELLY AND WARREN MOON IN THE 80'S

I laughed so hard at Manning's intro. Didn't know if that was a compliment or an insult.

Why does Terry Bradshaw still look exactly the same as he did in the 70s?

The 70s honorable mentions should include Ken Stabler (got a ring, an mvp, a passing title, and 4 straight appearances in afc championship), Bob Griese (back to back super bowl wins in 3 straight appearances, part of the undefeated 72 Dolphins).
