For the people who don't understand why Unitas is #2, he was the guy who made the QB into the most important position on the field. No his numbers in no way hold up, but he changed the entire game of football. He came in the league throwing more and better than anyone had ever seen. Suddenly you HAD TO be able to throw the ball effectively, which was not seen as a necessity before. He was effectively the first great modern QB. He also won 3 rings and 3 MVP's.
