Balogun Market in the heart of Lagos isn’t just a market—it’s an experience. A sprawling maze of sound, color, chaos, and soul, where every corner pulses with the rhythm of Nigerian hustle. Markets like this reveal a deeper truth: if you want to understand a city, go where its people barter, laugh, argue, and thrive. Today, we're diving headfirst into Balogun—into the heart of Lagos itself. Let’s go.

Hahaha when he said the pineapple is sweeter than the one in Antigua. I am from Antigua but have lived in Nigeria. I agree 100% with him

My Dad is from Lagos but I grew up in Germany. Now at 26 I'll visit for the first time this Autumn.
To get a feeling how it'll be I'm watching videos since last week when it was decided.
Thanks for the Video ♥️

You are becoming Nigerian already, 😀 I won't be surprised if you start speaking pidgin soon, am glad that you are willing to explore our foods without bias. Love you from Abuja!

I like how the Lebanese Sharwarma Business owner sounds Nigerian. He sounded like he wanted you to basically know he’s nigerian too. Genuine assimilation. Progress.

I'm happy that someone finally introduced a Youtuber to Nigerian Moin-moin made in banana leaves and not the one made in plastic (yuck). It is one of the most underrated and delicious Yoruba food requiring patience and skill to make
