The potential global impacts of the climate crisis are slower to materialise, but much graver than those from Covid-19.

Actions to be taken are urgent!

In all these years we have known about climate changes, why have we not managed to mobilise a bold collective action to combat this crisis?

Dr Saltvedt has paid special interest to two potential explanations that can slow down the green transition; Market Failure (failure of a market to deliver an optimal result) and Path dependency. In this talk she focuses on how to move away from the dependency of the high emission path and to develop a new green path dependence – a new history - a system change that involves the whole society.
Thina Margrethe Saltvedt is Chief Analyst at the Group Sustainability Nordea Bank. She worked over 12 years as an oil analyst, before leaving it all behind.

What a brave move! The sooner we become aware about going green the better it is for the earth! ♻️

There is no climate crisis. The Earth was warmer in the recent and distant past. It also warmed faster in the past.
