In my first driving test I came to a complete stop but there was a sign that prohibited turning right on red due to a school nearby, i failed (California).
2nd try i passed with 2 mistakes 🙏🏽

In my country, you can turn left on the red light (similarly to the right turn, but we drive on the left hand side of the road) only if there's a separate lane for left turn and a yield sign, otherwise you must stop.

I have a question. Imagine the situation where I am facing a red light. Cross traffic lights turned red, and I want to initiate a right turn into the right most lane of a two lane road. Now, oncoming traffic has an advanced left turn flashing green signal - while I am still staring into the right turn. Do I stop or continue with the turn?

On the test, do you stop behind the crosswalk? For right turn on red, I was taught to creep out and wrap the curb, stop and check to make sure it’s clear, then proceed but im concerned what exactly is the right procedure. (If I’ll be penalized if I stop on the crosswalk to check if it’s clear).

Also, what about when the stop sign line has not a clear visual of the traffic youre about to turn into? Am I able to creep out past the line (upon stopping at the line), and proceed, making sure it’s clear?
