What makes Slaneesh the most terrifying Chaos God is that they are extremely subtle. One moment your partaking in a wee bit of tomfoolery; and the next it’s years later and you’ve torn up all of your skin, jacked yourself up to a multitude of “stimulators”and snorted more than you could have conceived of. The ironic part is you cannot see yourself walking such a path because you look upon those who are at the end with revulsion and nausea, yet you don’t realize that you are going there when the steps are so small.

This is why Chaos as a whole is weak. Chaos grants worthy individuals tremendous power yet it destroys armies. In a duel, the corrupted Sons of Mortarion, Fulgrim, Angron, and Magnus would typically be able to outmatch their loyalist brethren but an army of the corrupted sons will always lose to their loyalist cousins with all else equal. Part of the reason why the Black Legion has been more successful than the other Legions is that Abaddon didn't immerse himself and his legion in the Chaos coke, they certainly have had some of it there is no doubt but he didn't go down the rabbit hole that Angron or Fulgrim went.

40k is a fun fighting universe but all the do the wrong stuff as much as possible for fun gets boring after awhile. Despite all the music & pictures it just feels bland after reading so much about it.
I mean its always suddenly "The beauty of torture! Or doesnt being as bad as possible so great cos.... reasons"
Also passion? Like he didnt have that before when it was genetically coded in. Next he'll learn the beauty of watching turds dry for entertainment while he waits for his next raid.
