All NEW Search & Filter Elements - Bricks Builder [WordPress]

In this video, we dive into the newly released experimental search and filter feature of Bricks Builder 1.9.6. We'll take a look at its current capabilities and some of the potential issues you might encounter and give you a general overview of how to set it up on your own site.

This isn't a deep tutorial but rather a first look at the experimental feature, with a promise of a more comprehensive guide once the final version is released.

What you'll learn:

- How to set up basic filters such as product search, product category, and price range filters.
- How to apply these filters to a WooCommerce product loop (though it's not limited to WooCommerce and can be used with custom post types and standard WordPress posts).
- How to customize the appearance and functionality of each filter using Bricks' settings.
- Understanding some of the current limitations, such as the lack of "AND/OR" logical operators in the filter queries.

Setup Overview:

- We start with a simple product loop displaying images and titles.
- The filters are added to a separate block, with each filter targeting the product loop.
- We walk through the setup of a search filter, a price range filter, and a taxonomy filter (e.g., product categories).

Current Shortcomings:
- The reset button doesn't completely reset the filters to their initial state.
- The lack of "AND/OR" operators for combining multiple filter conditions.

Not sure there would be any need for an OR option between elements, if you adjust an item you would want to filter by it, OR would be internal to an element so for example ticking different categories so this cat OR that cat
