Thank you for this review. I am a 75 year old owner of a 2016 NC 700 DCT. It is a fine bike with great fuel economy.

90, 000 km on my 2016 dct and i love it! But... add a drive shaft and cruise control and it would be a killer.

I own a 2018 NC750X, the old model. I like the taller seat height of the old model and also that it has less electronic gimmicks that can go wrong. I don't need ride modes or traction control (or cruise control which people keep complaining about). The only upgrade Honda could give the NC, that would make me get a new one, is the shaft drive it should have had from the beginning. But Honda doesn't do shaft drive anymore, which is a shame, they used to make some excellent middleweight, shaft drive bikes.

Not everyone wants to go a thousand miles an hour on a motorcycle. I want a bike that is comfortable to ride and is not obnoxious to other people. Believe me when I say I’ve many Harley rides tell me they are jealous of my NC750X. I tell them that I’ve never ridden a Harley and never will.

I agree. Long time rider and one who is now at age 65 and a current owner of a Honda NC750x DCT is NOT a beginners bike. Even this very smooth non clutch motorcycle is a motorcycle that can be dangerous without a good knowledge of how to ride. It is not a scooter.

30000 km/19000 miles on my 12' NC700X, no issues besides common maintenance items, always pick it among my other bikes for city rides.

I truly believe a shaft driven motorcycle is the best way to go. I have a 2008 Honda VTX 1300. And I feel to have trouble with it. I’ve had the lifter adjusted, 67, 68, 000 miles, i’ve had two reconstructive knee surgeries and that’s why I was looking for a lighter bike because mine weighs 998 pounds

From 2013-2017 i had a NC700X DCT which i drove 56.000 km on. In 2017 it was swapped with a NC750X DCT with 95.000 km until now. I wont bye a third NC due to the really low seat hight on the later models . I am 195 cm, definitely go for DCT if you consider the NC.

I love my 2021 model, it just does absolutely everything with ease while being practical and fuel efficient. It is actually fun despite the 58 hp. I will change it this year for something new only because... I just want something new. But I might come back to the NC when/if they give it a musclier motor and a cruise control. 2026 maybe?

I have the previous model…..ticks all the boxes….sure i have added front fender extender, rear hugger, hand protectors, centre stand etc….but it is just right for me, returning after 43 years of not riding, almost got wiped out when I was 19, drunk driver destroyed my Yamaha RD250LC….one big gripe for me about my NC750DCT…..bloody awful rubbish battery cover, screws or whatever on mine were threaded, snapped off….so I now use Velcro to hold the damn cover in place…..twin disc up front….mmm….maybe good….but extra weight…..cruise control….yes that should be standard….better position indicator switches yes….screen, fine….instrumentation…..mine works fine…..above all, this bike is just right for me, it’s no slouch either, great fuel economy….comfortable, well built…..and….hehe…..not a Harley hehe….my age band where I live tend to go for those…but seriously, any bike you own is just great, we should support each other….and give a nod while out enjoying our freedom.

i dont think any beginner starts with 750cc 60hp bike, i totally dont recommend it, unless you bought your first bike in your 50's, lol... otherwise the bike is so great that i am going to9 buy it -next year, i wanted an all rounder just like that, a bit more knobby tires and i am sure it can ride off road as well -travel style

Improvement ideas for future update: USD front fork, longer suspension travel, keyless access to helmet compartment, cruise control, USB socket ...

Love my 2018 NC, sadly no longer brought into Australia, I would certainly upgrade, Can I ask what was the Honda bag you put in the Helmet storage area, Thanks

First time we get to see the new luggage bag for inside the frunk! I’ve ordered one (a red DCT), and this item from the urban pack was still a mystery.

Battery will breakdown at 10, 000km even the bike is under warranty Purchase the battery is not covered prepare to spend for new battery frequently if you use the Honda OEM BATTERY

I need to decide between the three newish Honda's... Nx500, lx750 it the nc750. This will be my first bike and will be mostly a commuter, but I plan to use it for basic adventures... Think southeast Coast bdr
