Wow, thank you!!!! My USB port in my car was loose after 6 years of use and therefore Android auto wasn't staying connected. I was only able to bend up one of the prongs but that was enough to make my connection secure!!!

What about the c port in a cellphone.

I already cleaned up the inside of the port in the cellphone but still lose, I tried different cords and still loose

Excellent tip Rodney! I have experienced loose USB connections before, and usually its always the ones made by the Chinese, who typically do cheap manufacturing with 0 QC. I still to this day, think its weird, that there are never any connection locks, for USB. And yes, the ancient serial connector may be outdated in terms of speed, but at least it could be screwed down as it was a DSUB connector.

back when USB came around, and we had both USB A, and USB B I thought everything should have been USB B, as it just seemed like a more robust connector similar to firewire. These days I'm liking USB C more, and more.
