For me as Russian that was pretty interesting to listen to what foreigners feel living in such places. Thanks for a non-standard view. I moved to Munich, Germany a year ago and after a year me and my wife just recognized that we don't have any perspectives in Germany. It's a great country to live if you're a dollar millionaire, but if you're a foreigner (even if you have a good income ~100 eur per year), you will rent a flat all your life. You just cannot buy anything here. In Russia, I can buy the great house with a plot nearby Moscow region and live there with a great ecology, tasty and fresh vegetables and have better perspectives as an experienced professional...

So we decided to move back despite all the circumstances..😂

In London you need 500k pounds plus 200k for repairs and 100k salary for maintenance fees like counsil tax or service fees for flats etc to be able to considered for a human. It is crime against humanity and no joke here. Revolution is at hand

Your videos are getting better and better.

If you consider the wealth of Russia, with parity (PPA), Russia the fifth richest country in the world behind, in order, China, USA, India and Japan and just before Germany.
To compare, for example, take a russian teacher and an american teacher and look at what kind of house/appartement the teacher can buy. A video on salaries would be very interesting!
Congratulations for Ksenia with her new pink bicycle.

Just what we've been waiting for! I haven't seen a house for less than $100k in my area for a very long time, and it was a fixer-upper in the ghetto. Those houses you showed us were gorgeous, but I don't need a house that big. All I need is two or three bedrooms, but I'd like to have a big garage or shop. Mobile homes or manufactured homes are junk. They are flimsy and poorly made, not an investment. They are more of a temporary or home you buy when you are out of options. There is no question about it, I would opt for a sturdy home in Russia. Of course, I may be biased.

That trailer in California doesn't include the space tent (because it is in a trailer park), so you would still need to pay several hundred extra dollars a month on top of the cost of the physical trailer.

Cost of living is worse every day in USA. Our little town just outside Nashville raised taxes 100% (literally double) last month to keep up with inflation and so many people leaving worse places like Chicago LA Houston New York. Local people will be moving away now

Daniel, it ' s very interesting. Moscow region, where we live, is considered to be the most expensive in Russia. In spite of that, we could buy 2 flats ( step by step) to our son and his family. The last one costs 16 000 000 roubles. The flat is 100 square metres. We are not rich ! We simply know Russian laws and follow them.

I really love this type of content! Much more positive and less polarizing than any war stuff. Excellent video!

Dan, mate, you can make talking about light bulbs exciting. You are full of good energy! With regards to property prices - comparing Siberia, one of the most affordable in Russia territories vs. Cali, one of the most expensive in the States ... hmmm Permanent residency in Russia via investment has one of the options through buying real estate - 20 million RUB for Crimea and far East regions, 25 million RUB most of Russia and 50 million RUB for Moscow and region. After Central London nothing seems particularly expensive - one bedroom (that's 2 rooms - open kitchen and lounge and a bedroom, plus facilities) of about 60m square is around half a million pound sterling and that's not even with the land, just a leasehold! Keep up the interesting work. Thank you. Best wishes to you and Ksenia from Jay and I.

This was very interesting to watch. I have already seen so many video's about Russia and former USSR republics but never a video about costs of living there.
I also saw your first video about houses when it came out.
That most expensive house, does that come with two cleaners?
It is so big. It takes the whole week to clean. And then it start all over again.
You forgot to mention one thing. The difference in views. Those mountains are magical.
You are doing well my friend. ❤
In the Netherlands a small apartment would set you back about Eur 137.000, -
A house connected to other houses, depending on where you live would be about Eur 300.000, -

Great vid thanks. Cost of living is an issue in New Zealand also. People struggle to get into their first home and tend to be caught in a perpetual renting trap.

OMG, these houses are so expensive... I think here in Lipetsk it's way cheaper. A 12-15 million house will have an inside pool here)

as far as I know, there is still a very high property tax in the USA, which depends on the cost of the house. In Russia, I think this is a relatively small amount!

Although my father's family comes from the first Russians who came to Lake Baikal (my family village is Kurtun in the Olkhon district), it is too cold for me to live in Siberia. I now live between Krasnodar and the Black Sea, in the town of Goryachy Klyuch - an ideal place for a high quality of life, but my house of 140 sq.m. in a great location with a small plot costs about 10 million. You can see Avito with photos and prices of houses in the Hot Key plot

Вы молодцы, ваша работа важна, если смотреть комментарии граждан США, то понимаешь, что они не имеют представления о нашей реальной жизни в России, и ваши видео может помогут кому-то начать новую жизнь и стать счастливыми.

Dan is simply doing what Nomad Capitalist does but with real local knowledge of a nice small town in one of the best locations in Russia. Basically if you could move there, you would have a better lifestyle- that’s the message. We all have choices and for some this would be waaay better! Cousin Vinny
