As someone who's thinking about getting a PC handheld to primarily do some retro emulation, this is encouraging news. I was thinking I'd probably have to go with something like a Steamdeck for the power and compatibility, but if I could get a system like an Odin 2 Portal (which I was looking at closely a few weeks ago), that would save me a little money while still being able to do all the things I want it to. Still early days, I know, but I'm not in any hurry and can afford to wait.

But the screenshot/notes you listed themselves mention, "Lastly, thank you to TJ for doing the initial Odin 2 & Portal support for ROCKNIX and strongtz for the source of much of the Odin 2 kernel code" so maybe Portal does work? a few lines above that it only calls ou the Mini as not currently supported, so....maybe?

NOTE, a huge issue for those of you rushing for this now: "Sleep is just completely broken, battery drains very fast." is a outstanding issue on their progress page.

I love your Odin 2 setup! I bought the black base model and got spare white buttons and analogs and swapped them in for the black and white look! Looks a lot nicer to me than the full black, and it's really nice to have spare parts on hand now!
