Torngat Mountains National Park

The name of Torngat takes its name from the Inuktitut word Tongait, meaning place of Spirits. It is this ‘Place of Spirits’ calling me to visit this region of my dream. This spectacular wilderness land of mountains homes of polar bears, glaciers, caribou, arctic botanies and the ancestry of Nunavik.
Our first stop into the Torngat Mountains National Park was the Torngat Mountains Base Camp, on Saglek Fjord outside of the park and then enroute to Ramah, Nachvak, and Eclipse Island, then ended at Martin Bay.
