Technically this isn't a relational database, this is a lookup. For a relational link you would use a column like date to pull the workout data from the same date. I was expecting the fields in the workout column to populate once you made the connection.

I've made many relational db's in my time doing web dev.

Thank you for explaining this! You could also include tables inside of your workouts to track the individual reps you did for each exercise rather than just listing them as bullet points. That way you can continue to push yourself by increasing the rep count from your previous workout.

Not sure if can use notion for ancestry collection information but I imagine it would be interesting and possible I have seen evernote used similarly so am guessing it would work alongside existing information? Have thought about this application as a digital calendar and notebook, dairy so using as a family tree collection is pretty interesting I haven't seen if is used this way but hopefully you can provide the information if it can help bridge this idea?

i think it might be a good way of putting all purchase orders in our business each having such characteristics as status, buyer and supplier, date collected, received, invoiced, etc. I use excel at the moment, but the only pain, is that I want to look at the table from different view, sometimes i want to see orders that needs to be invoiced, or the ones that are in transit, or due to be collected, etc. and I think with relational bases you can create several bases, without the need to constantly filtering data. Or should I stick to Excel?

If I have a master project database but only want to share and allow access to a certain type or group of projects in my workspace can you do that in a way that the workgroup couldn't see the full database?
