To clarify on that 3-5, that actually wasn't the play call otherwise yeah that's aggressive af. They had a screen called, Jayden audibles when he sees press Source: Dan Quinn after the game likened it to Maverick buzzing the tower in Top Gun, one of those ask for forgiveness later instead of permission kinda things

The TD run is crazy. Ran a Read Option out of a Zone Read/pistol as opposed to the shotgun. Kliff gonna have a field day with his new toy. HTTR

I’m so glad that we got Jayden Daniels. I’ve been in Washingtonian forever, and the fact that we went through so many quarterbacks in the last 10 years has been exhausting. I’m glad that we finally got a young guy that could potentially be up franchise QB who is a DUAL WEAPON! 🔥

I like how you pointed out the 5 step drop on the go route to Dyami. To the casual it looks like the RT got beat and sure you can make an argument for it but the farther the qb drops back the easier the edge has of an angle to get to the qb. When the Panthers played the Broncos in the Super bowl Von Miller got 2 sacks off of 2 5 step drop plays from Cam. If they were 3 step drops the game could have turned out different. Anyways as a Commanders fan it's great to see Jayden do well in his first NFL action but obviously we need more of a sample size but hard to keep in check because his accuracy from college hasn't lost a beat.
