Injured Ukrainian soldiers keen to return to frontline

Hospitals in Ukraine are gearing up for many more casualties as Ukrainian and Russian troops fight for control of the country.

Alex Rossi spoke to soldiers who have been injured in conflict.

"we decided not to be heroic and ask for help". Dont be ashamed. Its hard to defend your country whilst injured. The fact that getting back on the frontlines is on his mind while recovering on a hospital bed is heroic enough. The fact that he got injured in combat is heroic enough.

I swear Ukrainians are all harder than steel. Stay strong Ukraine.

Ukrainians are so courageous. It's humbling to see them standing alone in front of a storm bravely facing everything alone while the whole world abandoned them at their time of need. If there's one time the whole world needs to stand up for a nation, it's right now.

Wounded. These are wounded soldiers. They have shrapnel wounded, they're not injuries. An injury sounds like a pulled muscle, not shrapnel wounds.
