Manchester City do not suffer a mental block in the Champions League, said Pep Guardiola on Tuesday ahead of the new European campaign.
This season marks City's 10th straight in the Champions League but the club has yet to make it to a final and has only been in the last four once, before Guardiola's arrival, despite significant investment in the playing squad.
City begin the 2020-21 campaign at home to Porto on Wednesday.
Guardiola also wished Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk well following the defender's injury over the weekend.
