It's strangely calming that everyone around here that comes back to listen to this song over and over again has that same feeling... when you close your eyes you'd be thinking of her/him, that one special person. Thoses faces may differ and the circumstances may vary, but the feeling stays the same among so many people. Not being alone, even if nobody around you might understand is really helpful. And that shows what good music really can do. Connecting, even in pain or in recovery. Rock on.

I found this song during the worst breakup of my life so far. Yeah I teared a little even after drying myself up, but oddly enough I smiled because then I realized it wasn't meant to be, and that I'm still young and will have my next chance to start over with someone way more beautiful to me. And that's just what I did. Thanks stone sour for putting everything I felt at the time into this song. Never thanked you guys back then, but i remember how much this song healed me. Now I'm sure most people see this as themselves the full way through, or as their lover (or ex-lover) the full way through, but I see it as a conversation. In some parts, I see myself. It really is amazing to me to think about how we as humans beings work.
