NOTE: Though Wikipedia says the ride officially opened to the public on June 1st, that was actually the ride's media day. According to the Asbury Park Press, the ride officially opened to the public on June 2nd. Special thanks to newspapers.com for making research a lot easier.

I was shocked when I opened the script from Peter. “McDonald’s had onion nuggets??” Great working with you man! Video came out great!!

Those interviews at 2:30 are quite possibly the most 80's thing I've ever seen.

2:50 “they’ll never get a better one”

El Toro: “and I took that personally”

Tallest and fastest wooden coaster that DIDNT SUCK lol. Its so interesting to see Vipers setup in the Toro station. I went to the park for the first time in 2008 so i never got to see that nasty Togo

9:14 The most shocking part of this story is how that guy just casually tossed a backpack over the track as the ride vehicle was coming in. That would NOT fly in other places.

Some random person after Ultra Twister opened: “They will never get a better one”
El Toro: “Hold my beer”

I wonder what that guy who said “They will never get a better ride” thinks now that El Toro is sitting in it’s place

NOTE: I have the standard video intro because I felt the intro I gave this series was too long and repetitive.

Looks like it was time for Viper “Togo”!

Viper's first drop was otherworldly. A back row night ride during fright fest '02 or '03 is well within my top 10 of most fun I've had on a roller coaster

"But why exactly did Viper suffer the fate of McDonald's Onion Nuggets?"

Six Flags: We considered The film Unforgiven to be a bit too extreme of a theme to name a ride after and it could affect ridership.

Thorpe Park: *Hey let's make a rollercoaster based on Saw!*

omg I rode The Viper in 2004, and I remember how extremely rough it was. When I got off the ride I made my classmates check to see if my earring backings had stabbed my head. I don't even remember the ride itself because it was like having your head in a pinball machine. Craaaazzy

A similar take to Hypersonic XLC, showing off the important lesson of "don't buy the prototype."

What? I love Scream’s parking lot theme! It makes you scream “who the hell builds a
roller coaster on a parking lot!?” 😂

I wished they never removed the ultra twister, until I realized that we would not have el Toro today if it was never removed.

did you really make a video featuring ElToroRyan, but not have him voice the section about El Toro? Ok that is just hilarious

I'm one of those people with a genuine fear of roller coasters, so I'm really grateful I get to experience any aspect of them through channels like this! This was really interesting and I'm enjoying all of the new information I'm getting about something I'm probably not ever going to be handle in real life.
