You should use distilled water only with all water appliances to help reduced buildup. This is a great cleaning process.

You’re actually supposed to do it once a week to avoid build up. I had one of these and got lazy later on and it was nearly impossible to get clean. Up in the top where the ice comes out … you can’t even do it.

I have one. I love it but if you have hard water it will destroy the insides. Your tubes are clear now but watch the inside tubes and they get clogged as well. Someone on YT shows the process of removing the outside parts and replacing the tubes. We have a warranty but this was user error. Buy distilled water from the store! Don’t do what I did 🙈😩😂
