Very satisfying answer. I was waiting for this answer. I think finally i got it. At same time being honest about not knowing exact mechanism of quantum measurement which turns abstract things into solid concrete matter like tabel and hard rocks

Best video so far. We’ll done.
Your individual experience is limited by the formation of your structure. Matter and Energy are the same thing. Matter unfolds into action and action folds into matter. In the beginning of the Big Bang only light emerged. We are a whorl in a puddle of water unaware of the water. We are instruments singing in the winds of consciousness. We cannot control the winds but we can tune our strings. From dust to dust is wrong. It’s from
Light to light. When we understand the similar relationship between matter with action and present time with potential time, we will subdue the doorway between the infinite and the finite turning the adversary into the beneficial adversary and crown human enlightenment.

Since you brought DID I might as well ask this:
What's the point of autism, social anxiety and all the other mental disabilities that make it way more difficult than it needs to integrate into society? This causes a lot of pain to individuals suffering from these ailments which in many cases stays unresolved. Under materialism this makes sense. You got dealt a bad hand and have to make the most of it but what's the case for idealism?

It's hard for me to accept the idea that objects such as supermassive black holes, whose sizes can be far bigger than the solar system, are fundamentally mental. However, with the discoveries of quantum physics, they might as well be made of mentation after all

Another cool video! Definitely heavily inspired by Bernardo Kastrup's work.

Which makes me wonder: Do you you disagree with any of Kastrup's arguments/conclusions? I don't really agree with his take on (libertarian) free will. And I also consider idealism to indeed be a form of solipsism, almost by definition, unlike Kastrup. I mean, if there's really only one true Self, isn't that practically the very definition of solipsism?

You (i, ego, body) are not inside in this physical universes as separate and objective entity from universe but the whole universe is within you, whole universe is reflection or projections of you. There are no separate parts of this universe. It's internconted a singular "one". Dualites don't exits without each other. Because dualities are within one which is singular whole. This is profound realisation.

In this speculative scenario, let's consider Leibniz's Monad (first emanation of God), from the philosophical work "The Monadology", as an abstract representation of the zero-dimensional space that binds quarks together with the Strong Nuclear Force:

1) Indivisibility and Unity: Monads, as indivisible entities, mirror the nature of quarks, which are deemed elementary and indivisible particles in our theoretical context. Just as monads possess unity and indivisibility, quarks are unified in their interactions through the Strong Nuclear Force.

2) Interconnectedness: In the Monadology, monads are interconnected in a vast network. In a parallel manner, the interconnectedness of quarks through the strong force could be metaphorically represented by the interplay of monads, forming a web that holds particles together.

3) Inherent Properties: Just as monads possess inherent perceptions and appetitions, quarks could be thought of as having intrinsic properties like color charge, reflecting the inherent qualities of monads and influencing their interactions.

4) Harmony: The concept of monads contributing to universal harmony resonates with the idea that the Strong Nuclear Force maintains harmony within atomic nuclei by counteracting the electromagnetic repulsion between protons, allowing for the stability of matter.

5) Pre-established Harmony: Monads' pre-established harmony aligns with the idea that the strong force was pre-designed to ensure stable interactions among quarks, orchestrating their behavior in a way that parallels the harmony envisaged by Leibniz.

6) Non-Mechanical Interaction: Monads interact non-mechanically, mirroring the non-mechanical interactions of quarks through gluon exchange. This connection might be seen as a metaphorical reflection of the intricacies of quark-gluon dynamics.

7) Holism: The holistic perspective of monads could symbolize how quarks, like the monads' interconnections, contribute holistically to the structure and behavior of particles through the strong force interactions.

1. Idealism's Conception of Reference and Causation:
In idealism, reality is posited to emanate from a singular cosmic mind, where consciousness plays a central role in determining the nature of existence. Idealism's explanation of reference—the connection between words, thoughts, and the external world—is grounded in the idea that the universal consciousness provides the ultimate reference points. Likewise, causation is often attributed to the intentions or actions of this cosmic mind, which supposedly governs the course of events.
The idealist framework has multiple problems, inconsistencies and incoherence - discussed below.

However - to begin with "causation is often attributed to the intentions or actions of this cosmic mind" is itself incoherent, borrowing terminology from human conscious attributes and projecting these onto this construct called "universal conscious mind" [whatever that even means]
i.e in Thomas Nagel sense, consciousness is the "whats its like to be [a bat]"
We have no idea if there is any "what its like to be all reality" - which is incoherent in the first place.
The "whats it like to be" is a consciousness of distinctions, I know whats its like to be myself as a human agent, with own history and memories and i'm not my mum or dad...or a neanderthal or chimpanzee.
The term "consciousness" then in absolute idealism is some odd equivocation that cannot mean or be anything to do with phenomenal individual consciousness - the normal meaning used. This is a special pleading, mixed up mereology, false equivalence....just nonesense place holder that doesn't explain anything.

2. Putnam's Semantic Externalism and Reference:
Putnam's semantic externalism challenges idealism's conception of reference by asserting that the meanings of mental states are not solely determined by internal factors, but are influenced by the external environment.
The reference of terms, according to Putnam, is determined by the causal connections between mental states and external objects. This challenges idealism's assumption that all reference originates from a cosmic mind, as Putnam's approach emphasizes the role of external interactions and causal processes.
"Dissociation" in absolute idealism attempts to answer this - somehow the "reference" is to "dissociated mind" since there is no such thing as external objects.
Certainly weird, but demolished when one is using ideas of dissociation gathered from scientific inquiry presupposing external reality in empirical psychological studies published.
i.e under idealism, the cases of dissociation are not people with dissociation disorder but dissociation of dissociation and its all a circularity or infinite regress of dissociation. All causes are dissociations, any and all "reference" become disassociation - and nothing is really explained. (all scientific realism collapses in a heap of epistemic nonsense, its all subjective dissociation or labeled as "cosmic consciousness" - which, as discussed, is already misusing the term "consciousness" in a vague way not meaning what we mean by consciousness [Nagel's what its like to be]

3. The Causal Nature of Reference:
Putnam's argument underscores the importance of causal relationships in establishing reference. For meaningful communication to occur, there must be a causal connection between the mental state of an individual and the external object or event that the mental state refers to.
This causal requirement challenges idealism's account of reference, as it introduces a complex web of causal interactions that extend beyond the confines of a universal consciousness (whatever that is). The idealist notion of an all-encompassing cosmic mind becomes inadequate, incoherent and self contradictory in explaining the intricacies of reference and its dependence on external causation. [in essence, one has to dump causation and all of science - Atomic energy is just dreams & illusions, there is no difference between dreaming a Hiroshima and a "real" Hiroshima]

....which has ethical implications too. If a Hiroshima is just "mental simulation" then is it really real ? Are concentration camps really real causality or just dream like simulations. Death is just dissociation, so how bad can that be, just a part subsumed into cosmic mind like a video game or dream - since causality isn't causal-realism.

4. Undermining Idealism's Causal Framework:
Idealism often relies on the causal power of the universal consciousness to account for the unfolding of events in the world. However, Putnam's semantic externalism suggests that causal relationships extend beyond the cognitive realm to encompass interactions between individuals and the external environment. This challenges idealism's ability to provide a comprehensive account of causation, as it introduces a multiplicity of causal factors that transcend the boundaries of consciousness.
An example being The idea of calling drugs such as propofol anaesthetic "mental stuff"
The physicalist account makes much more sense of causality as does semantic externalism.
Propofol disrupts the physiochemical functioning of brains and eliminates consciousness.
Propofol being a chemical compound.
Calling propofol "mental stuff" makes no sense, its not the sort of thing to have mental states, phenomenology or make decisions.
The effect of propofol is elimination of consciousness - its gone. Nil. eliminated. We KNOW consciousness is not fundamental, to reality other than that which is salient to our needs, desired and wants (mental states)
i.e consider out heart & breathing still continue in deep sleep and under anesthesia (right doses, slightly too much these stop) i.e phenomenal consciousness is UNNECESSARY for basic life support - breathing & heart.
Yes - phenomenal consciousness is required for broader survival needs i.e an anesthetized patient will die of dehydration and starvation unless artificially fed (by another conscious agent assisting)

5. Implications for the Interaction of Consciousness and the External World:
Putnam's critique of idealism's treatment of reference and causation reverberates into the core interaction between consciousness and the external world. By emphasizing the role of external factors and causal connections in shaping mental content and reference, Putnam's semantic externalism undermines idealism's neat separation of a cosmic mind and the material world. This refutes the idea that all reality emanates from consciousness alone and highlights the complexity of the relationship between consciousness, reference, and causation.

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question but I fail to see how these ideas are applicable in day to day life. I can imagine things but I can't deliberately "observe" things that happen to me. I don't know if that sounds silly or not.

Physicalism thrives on its ability to explain phenomena through identifiable mechanisms, such as the interactions of particles, forces, and fields. Absolute Idealism, by contrast, lacks a detailed account of how the "so called" universal consciousness (whatever that means) gives rise to the diverse array of experiences and phenomena observed in reality.
Without a clear mechanism for these interactions, Absolute Idealism falls short in providing a coherent and testable framework for understanding the complexities of existence.

By physicalism, I mean a multiple nested emergent ontology, not some simplistic reductionist physicalism "everything is billiard ball atoms" i.e not to fall for fallacy of division or composition.

Absolute idealism aims to explain everything, but in reality explains nothing, in essence making explanations all hallucinations.
eg the Sun shines due to fusion of hydrogen to helium etc - in a physicalist model, we have explanation not just vague "mental stuff" makes the Sun shine, with no notion whatsoever that the Sun has anything to do with conscious phenomenology - something unique to embodied minds (yes, people and some animals/life forms).
In the absolute idealism, the "Fusion" and in essence all causality are just arbitrary dreams, no real explanation, all anti-realism.

Seriously incoherent metaphysics and nihilistic epistemology for idealism

Reminds me of Phantom Limb Syndrome. Why would an amputee still feel their missing limb? Because the neurons in the brain correlating to that amputated limb still exist. The neurons werent amputated with the limb.
