Steam Link allows you to stream the games you in your Steam library directly from your computer to your Meta Quest headset. This is the one tip that you need to get it setup and working on your Quest 2, Quest 3 or Quest Pro.

To get started, download and install Steam Link onto your headset.

If this isn't working for you, I'd try the Steam Link forums

Make sure you're updated to the latest SteamVR version (2.2) that addresses Error 200 and AMD gpu problems.

Where To Update Your Drivers
For most graphics cards, you will be able to easily download and install the latest drivers from NVIDIA or AMD:

Minimum Requirements
• A computer running Steam and SteamVR
• Supported OS: Windows 10 or newer
• Computer GPUs: NVIDIA (GTX970 or better)
• Wireless Router: 5GHz Channel, Wi-Fi 5
• Headset: Meta Quest 2, 3, or Pro

I am connected to the same network, but it says "steam link streaming VR is only supported on the local network" when I'm on the local network. Any idea how to fix it? (I've tried uninstalling steam VR on oculus and steam, I've restarted my network and tried a lot of tutorials but none of them work)

i get error code 499 on steam and error code 200 on the vr version when i try to connect. i checked the forums but there was little to nothing that helped me with my situation other than update my drivers (which i did).can you help me fix this?

Everytime I try to connect it just says "Error code: 450 Your host has stopped responding. Please restart steamVR" Any idea how to fix that?

I'm on the same network, remote play is enabled but it still doesnt work, any ideas?
Update: After trying my phones hotspot (it being successful), i tried our home network again and it worked. After launching it it said that a wireless connection isn't supported between pc and router, but it still worked nonetheless.

Do I have to be plugged into a router in order to use steam link? I don't have one near me, but both my quest and pc are connected to the same wifi and I'm getting an error saying it's not supported.
