We need a Sins 2. By far the best space rts on grand scale for me.
Stellaris/Endless feel bloated and isn't as much fun to just sit down for a few hours to do a quick solar system domination.

Rebellion still holds up today. Still updated, still has mods, they realised an HD graphics pack. Love this game. I also think I have yet to complete a game since I usually pick the multi-hundred system maps.

This and supreme commander forged alliance are the most enjoyable rts games i have ever played.

The only thing I really find i disagree with is about the soundtrack. I absolutely love the soundtrack of SINS and quite often find myself turning off the soundtrack of other games (such as Civ V) and play the SINS soundtrack off of Spotify in the background.
Otherwise, this is a great overview of the game! Well done!

I disagree on one thing, soundtrack is freaking amazing in this game. Most of people who I know who played this, agree too. Something wrong with music taste must be on your end, lol. Other than that, good review.

I just want to put in a good word for the soundtrack. The opening theme is bloody fantastic because it jumps from each of the different race's themes, with the choral elements for the Advent, the drums for the TEC and the strings for the Vasarri. Each race's themes are unique to them as well. I was very surprised by your analysis of the soundtrack as one of the highlights of playing the game was listening to the soundtrack, but maybe that's just me.

Gotta say I disagree on the soundtrack aspect, the soundtracks from sins are absolutely stellar in my opinion. Otherwise it's good to see content on this game, one of my all time favorite games, very underrated in my opinion.

I disagree about the Music, I think it's beautiful and really add to the atmosphere of the game. Did you make this before Minor Factions came out?

I loved this game back in 2013. A perfect Sins 2 would have:
1. progressive campaign missions with admirals and commanders
2. solar systems with moving planets and orbital stations/moons
3. planetary invasions with army carrier ships

The music is what my friends and I would always be listening to instead of each other in the coop games.
I agree with all except the fact that the music being more atmospheric was the best idea and what keeps me going back.
