Meet My Pet Rat Pickle!

Pickle's story! Pickle was an amazing little rat with a ton of energy and confidence, and while her life was sadly cut short she really made the most of it. I hope you enjoy getting to know her a little bit through this video - she may no longer be with me, but she made a big impact and I'm so glad I got the chance to know her.

Pickle was such a beautiful rat. I enjoyed watching all the videos of her. So sorry her life was cut short by a tumour. 🐀🐁💔

Pickle was a beautiful rat!! I remember watching the tumour diagnosed, then the after care, it can be heart breaking sometimes! It's great to take lots of pictures, and from seeing rat videos, I want them so much, however I know the way I can be sometimes, seeing rats curl up and lick you and sleep next to you for hours snuggled up, climb on you and groom you, I don't think I'd handle their passing that well.

Pickle looked just like my sweet boy Pomegranate (Pom). I also have Peas his brother, a black eyed martin. It's interesting because they started out looking identical except for their eyes and later Pea's fur darkened.

Pickle was a character for sure. She came out of a litter of rats that were profile at being lil turds, lol.

OMG Omelet cleaning the yogurt off of Pickle's mouth gently was so cute! I was worried there would be a fight over the yogurt. I'm sorry she crossed the rainbow bridge so early but she was very lucky to have spent her life in your care. ❤ 🌈🥒

I love how you ♥️ treat all of your rat's there so adorable, Two of my Aunts rat's have passed away and there in a good place now there names are Penelope wich is the mom of zigzag and she has another rat named hope which is the one that is still alive today and she is 3 years old hope everyone has a good day! Oh and almost forgot she has runtly the brave she was born with no eyes but she also passed. Sorry for your rat's loss"-"

Heyo Esther, how do you manage the short rat lives? I really love rats, but I don't think I could handle forming strong bonds and then crying every 1-2 years over their passing.

I would love to know how you feel about this and deal with it as you have way more experience (and ratties) than I do
