18 meteors per hour! The Lyrid Meteor Shower peaks April 21-22, and you might even catch a fireball—an extra-bright meteor that has been lighting up skies for 2,700 years! Want the best view? Find dark skies, let your eyes adjust, and look up! The moon is 40% full this year, so faint meteors may be harder to see—but fireballs are worth the wait!
