In my opinion, the more expensive i9-9900K simply isn't worth it for gaming.
You're better off going with the i5-9600K instead. Or am I wrong? :o

I5-9600k stock I'm not OC, RTX 2070 Asus Strix OC ( stock I'm not doing oc ) and 16 gb ram's . In Battlefield V all settings on ultra and resolution on monitor 2k with 165hz G-sync I got 90-120 fps AVG : 100/105 every time . And on cpu I got 56 C full load Air cooling Noctua ND-HD 14 and GPU has 66 C after 2.5h in gaming at 2k. That's perfect for me, I don't need plane's or I9 / 3000ryzen or wtf is that . I'm just chilling and gaming . Good luck bro .

yes a 370 will run a 9th gen just fine, i had my i9-9900k working just fine and over clocked to 5ghz on all cores

But looking at your benchmarks the 9900K outperforms the 9600K in pretty much every test, if you're not going for a budget build you might aswell go for the i9 over the i5.

You are indeed incorrect. I came to the exact same conclusion you did, so I purchased the 9600k and then the 9900k, which increased the frame rate and constancy of highs and lows. The consistency is the main point here that gets lost in bar graphs. If you are gaming on 1080p, on a high refresh rate monitor, you will see a very noticeable bump in the smoothness using the 9900k with a decently powerful GPU. The 9600k can not keep up in the 144fps and up range, and bottlenecks the system as it can not handle the massive amount of info coming from the GPU at high fps. At 1440p this would be less of a concern, but almost 70% of users are on 1080p so I felt this was a slightly misleading and click bait title.

Don't listen to the YouTubers criticizing i5 9600k.
I personally own an i5 9600k 9th gen at 4.6 ghz with a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and a 32 gb ram stick (Corsair Vengeance)
I can probably play all the latest games for future 8 years. It is a very powerful setup.

🙂 yeah i agree with all u said, get that or its brother the 86K, its $229 at our local Microcenter, i think its better than a slower boring 8400 🐢 plus not having Hyper Threading protects you from some hack attacks, i would get a decent B locked board, 8gb of decent 2666 ram, and reuse one of my old graphics card; so is there any way to get my windows 7 going?✌️😏📀
