I love your videos for two reasons. First, you are so incredibly relaxed. Second, your fotos are so amazing - with „no gear.“ Compared to others on yt, they invest their kidneys for gear and then take fotos not better then yours - maybe way worse than yours. Good tip never thought about live view and manual lens

I like both my subject and background n total focus. Example, Machu Picchu where you want to photograph the background scenic view and the subject. What lens you would want use?

I'm just starting to move towards going all manual for focusing because I'm just not happy with how my photo's are turning out. I'll play around with using the LCD screen and see how it goes! Thanks for the tip.

For the Rokinon 35mm, I know it's manual so does that also mean that the light meter on my canon 70d won't read the exposure even with the AE chip?

I am certain you would still take great shots with other lenses!
Most photographers on you tube say the 85mm is the go to for a professional look
I have a different opinion, for me the 35mm gives the real professional look.
Photographically speaking you are more Russian than Canadian(I am sure you know what
I mean)love your photos.

I think you should make more videos I love them but there is no recent content and your insta also has only a few photos, and you should also try the D850, I think you will start to use auto-focus.

Hey Dutch, What mirrorless system are you looking at? Sony Full frame like the A7 series or crop like the A6xxx? or even another brand maybe? I have the Nex-7 which i have had for around 4 years now and yet it still produces outstanding pics and as you said the versatility is unmatched for Legacy lenses.

Strange - and I knew it was true but when I contacted B&H Camera, I asked if there was some kind of adapter one could use to interchange different lens mounts on a certain body (canon to Nikon or vise-versa) and they told me that there is no such a gadget. YOU just proved them wrong! Thanks and where did you obtain that adapter ring?
