We dive deep into the fascinating realm of investing, specifically exploring the often-debated dichotomy between growth and value investing. Contrary to popular belief, we reveal that there's no distinct line between the two; instead, investing boils down to one fundamental truth: every investment is the present value of all future cash flow. Through a simplified Excel demonstration, we illustrate how the valuation of a company hinges on its growth trajectory and the desired return on investment. We debunk the misconception that growth and value investing are polar opposites, emphasizing that all investing is essentially rooted in the quest for value. Drawing insights from investment luminaries like Warren Buffett and Philip Fisher, we underscore the importance of understanding the dynamics behind growth and value. Ultimately, our aim is to equip viewers with a comprehensive understanding of investing principles, empowering them to navigate the markets with confidence and clarity.

Absolutely love it!!! I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because money left saving will end up with no returns

I think there is a difference, just not what people think. It's more of a question of do you like companies that are established or companies that are newer/entering new markets.

Paul, thank you! would like your opinion on Medifast. It's running at a P/E of 4, has got a v good ROE, gross margins are high, not a great net profit margin implying high expenses, reasonably low debt to equity, they've cut their dividends, buying back shares, but revenue seems to be dropping. All that said, worth a look in given it has dropped in price significantly from the highs?

Anytime you invest its value, more specifically valuation relative to growth. If you had bought both Apple & Microsoft in 1998, when Apple was at a 4 billion dollar market cap and Microsoft a 322 billion market cap you’d have made a a 60, 000% ROI or 28% CAGR on Apple compared to a 800% ROI or 9% CAGR with Microsoft. One took 10, 000 to 100, 000 the other 10, 000 to 7, 000, 000.

I’ve owned $PYPL for about a year, the price keeps dropping but the fundamentals are generally the same if not gotten better. I have a pretty big portfolio allocation towards it, should I continue buying as the price stalls?

I'm just riding out things with my etfs, investing into SCHD 34%/SCHG 16.5%/QQQM 16.5%/VOO 33%. I just sit it and forget it. DCA doing several buys each week and letting M1 finance keep everything balanced out for me.

This kind of video is way better than your standard video. Your message has been getting stale and this video, which is just restating your normal message but in a new way, is the way forward.

The missing link here is that at year 10, cell B18 and D18 is assuming the business will no longer make money. My point...company B growing 15% a year would be tough to buy at 12.8x current year's earnings.

Watched your interview with Aswath Damodaran from last year, interesting, the point about momentum was a highlight part. I have a hard time buying stocks that are going up unless they have a lot of upside potential where they're at. Sequel coming?

Art and old baseball cards do have a supply of 1 or very few. Supply stays the same and if anything goes down. The demand can fluctuate some. There is supply and demand
