After a c-section birth: your surgery wound hurts...you cannot get up from.the bed easily, becouse every move hurts, you feel a lot of pressure there and you have the feeling the wound opens when you get up. You are weak...cannot stand for a long time, at least the first few days. At the same time, breasts produce milk, and by the third day they are swollen, hurt to touch and very big. Milk does not come out so easily though..your baby has to work a lot to get a little bit of milk...I also used my breast pump to unclog my milk canals....the saddest part is the baby is fed formula until milk is produced in the breasts...
Every time you pee hurts...pooping does not hurt though...but if you were put to sleep during the operation, your entire digestive system is affected...you feel nauseus, have diarrhea and vomit...
You may have post partum depression and the studies say that it is more likely to have it if you gave birth through a c-section. I felt sad, like crying for two weeks, at both births...you may or may not have a reason to cry, but you feel so overwhelmed with sadness that you cry, no matter what ....
Then, on top of theese may be the exhaustion if you must wake up much during the night with your baby, especially if you have to pump your breasts and bottle feed your baby ( with my first child, he was born prematurely and I had to do that as he did not have enough strength to breastfeed)
Nipples may get irritations and wounds...and in many cases hurt and bleed...mine did as well. It takes about a month or more to heal.
There are so many things to write about this experience but no one would have time to read so much...just wanted to share some of the struggles of a mom after a c-section birth)...it is so hard at first but then, it all passes and you heal and you get used to the changes and you get to bond with your baby and have a beautiful relationship with them..you get to know the baby better...
Being a mom requires a lot of sacrifice and pain at first but then when you look back at everything, you know it was worth all the pain.
No birth is easy...but there is beauty in giving birth and being a mom, something men can't experience..it's not only pain..
Sorry for my bad english...

They also don't tell you your baby will scream like crazy for hours every single day and you won't know what to do

Very helpful! I used this video and translated it to my language so my people would be aware of this knowledge.

I know some women who had 5+ kids. How they’re still alive is beyond me. Getting pregnant practically wrecks your body is what I’m getting from this and from other videos I’ve watched.

It took my uterus two weeks to shrink down and I lost my stomach completely. I was very skinny by week one from breastfeeding. I could feel the uterus shrink all the way down.

So true. I had the app when my baby was born and it sure helped a lot specially since I was the first in my family to breast feed it was an emotional rollarcoaster but worth it. I truly recommend the app.

I think that after 9 months of pregnancy, labor and post-delivery, women should definitely get more than 1 day a year. It should absolutely not be the same as dads. If I get a day, hubby is only getting a dinner. ☺️

You will be scared to poop. Your vagina feels and gets sore especially if it's the first or baby was bigger. Your stomach looks like pizza dough for a while. Everyone says you have heavy bleeding for like a month. Well for me it was only heavy the first week. Then got lighter and lighter slowly. It was about a month though. I thought I needed two packs of over night pads. I didn't even use them much. The hospital pads lasted long enough for the heaviest flow. Then I just used the overnight pads for like two days. After that I used regular pads for about two weeks. The rest of the time just used panty liners. This is what happened for me after all three babies. I guessing it's the same for everyone to. I definitely did not bleed super heavy for a month.
