James White, the Trinity, and history

James White and other trinitarian apologists argue that the New Testament authors were trinitarian, and only the language used to describe the belief changed over time. The OT never says God is a triune being, the NT never says God is a triune being, yet to some, it is the so-called definitive doctrine of Christianity that must be accepted. I once claimed the doctrine myself. But I now believe that trinitarianism is a deception.

I've discovered even with my own family that the main reason people refuse to even contemplate that the trinity may be a false doctrine is due to incredible fear and pride. Its rough discovering that what you've put your faith and eternal salvation in all your life is a complete lie and concoction of the Catholic church then carried on into the Protestant church. I've lost my 2 best friends, peers, and immediate family members because they now believe I'm a heretic. They treat lost sinners better than they treat me. And there's something inherently wrong with that picture.

If he's right, then which Jews in their right mind introduced this idea? How were they so successful in propagating it, and how did they discern it from only the Old Testament? Don't tell me, it's there in Genesis 1:26, 18:1, Isaiah 9:6, and 48:16. And the others I can't think of.

That’s literally not true in Rome the reason the pope at the time did not write the Trinity was he was under torture. The most antitrinitarian work you have from him was him condemning Athansius for no communion. Even tertulian who left to the montanist was a trinitarian. If a heretic who fell for a charismatic movement is more orthodox than you, I’d be scared.

Anyone who is curious about this subject can start by watching "The Trinity in the Old Testament" by Inspiring Philosophy here on yt. It destroys this Unitarian heresy pretty completely and is really just the tip of the iceberg in terms of evidence against this nonsense. I know many people won't take the time or have the intellectual curiosity to watch it, but some will. To those people, your eyes will be opened.

You’re reading the source wrong. Even the quote you cited didn’t say there were no trinitarian in the first 300 yrs of church history

Unitarians have way too many verses to account for that would not make sense if it weren’t for the Trinity.
