In this video, you will learn how to use the ifm IO-Link library to setup an ethernet IP ifm IO-Link master to use with the CR1077 CODESYS industrial controller. While the video shows the demo using a CR1077, these instructions apply to all ifm CR part numbers: CR1059, CR1074, CR1075, CR1076, CR1077, CR1102, CR1150, CR1151, CR1152, CR1202, CR1204, AE1300, and AE3100. The step-by-step instructions walk you through how to:

• Download the IO-Link library
• Setup the appropriate function blocks
• Name & assign your variables within the CODESYS project
• Verify that your sensor data is communicating correctly

The HMI controls architecture relies on CODESYS V3.5 software, making it open source vs a proprietary PLC system. It provides PLC, HMI, and IIoT functionality all in one. You can direct your machine data to the cloud using MQTT and send it to ERP, MES, or SCADA systems using OPC UA. The touchscreen interface means the industrial controller has an intuitive design without sacrificing quality. Originally developed for outdoor equipment, the HMI is tested for extreme weather conditions, vibration, and full sunlight.

Hi, do such function blocks /libraries also exist for M340 and M580 schneider PLCs, using Modbus TCP connexion ?

I heard that you have a Windows library that allow an application running on Windows to read/write to IO Link sensors.
Can you point me to where I can download it? Thanks
