Hey! Im currently going through all the under-appreciated bug channels i can find to recommend to all my non bug loving friends to help them get some experience looking at all the wonderful bugs of the world! And although it isnt like im some super important person so thisll change the world for you but- i just wanted to go ahead and drop a comment here with all this simply to say ive seen some wonderful photography and basic information that ill be sure to spread!!! I know its been a year after this was made but I'm waiting for my shipment to be processed and am so excited!

are you not worried about them over-breeding in there? part of me wants more than one one, another doesn't want to end up with a hundred, like do you just occasionally have to check for corpses or something?

Very cool. I'm one of your basement neighbors here in the US haha. Became fascinated by these creatures after meeting hundreds of them on night fishing trips by the river (Pittsburgh area). Decided to keep a couple as pets and they've been doing great... But I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing right or wrong. Just generally trying to keep their enclosure conditions as close to the habitat where I found them as possible. One question I've yet to find the answer to: are aspen shavings ok for them? Had some left over from a pet snake and can't find any info on it.
