I was a Mormon for 30 years. I lost all of my children and grandchildren because I was excommunicated after I left that fairytale! The cost was too great until I became an Orthodox Christian in 2022. And like many of you I think, "How could anyone believe that foolishness?"

Currently debating like 4 mormons and showing then why eastern Orthodoxy is the truth. This video just helped confirm what ive been saying. Im a convert to eastern orthodoxy too and just started going deeper i to the theology. I can boldly say, i am so glad I decided to study eastern orthodoxy and acknowledge it as the true church

This is a good and succinct summary. One thing I would add, though, is that Mormonism teaches that there was a Great Apostasy and that Joseph Smith's revelations ushered in a restoration of (what Mormonism considers to be) true Christianity, whereas Orthodoxy teaches that there was no "Great Apostasy" and that Orthodoxy is the historical continuation of the early Church without any break or interruption.

Exactly. I was raised as a Mormon, and it is essentially a polytheistic religion. While Mormons worship only God, they believe that there are other gods who create other worlds, and that they will be given the same opportunity if they are righteous enough in life.
